מְרַר, מְרִירch. same, to be bitter; to grieve, mourn. Perf. מַר, imperf. ייֵמַר, יֵמַר. Targ. Is. 24:9. Targ. 1 Sam. 30:6; a. fr.Targ. Zech. 12:10 ויֵימְרוּן, v. infra. Pa. מָרַר to embitter, aggrieve. Targ. Ruth 1:13 תְמָרְרוּן (ed. Amst. תִמְרְ׳). Targ. Y. I Deut. 32:32 מְמַרְרִין (some ed. מְמַרְרַן; Y. II מַרְרַן). Af. אַמְרֵיר, אַמַּר 1) same. Targ. Ruth 1:20 (not אֲמַרִ׳). Targ. Ex. 1:14; a. e. 2) to arrange mourning. Targ. Zech. 12:10 ויימרון … כמא דמַמְרִיןוכ׳ they shall arrange mourning for him, as is arranged for (v. infra).אָמְרָרוּ, v.
